John Teele

Software Manager at Fishman Transducers

John Teele has an extensive work experience spanning over three decades. John started their career in 1985 as a Software Engineer at Alphatech where they developed simulation and modeling software. In 1987 they moved to Young Chang R&D Institute as a Principal Software Engineer. In 2002 they joined Bose Corporation as an Embedded Software Engineer IV, where they helped to create the embedded software for the Lifestyle Series II family of products and provided technical leadership for the software team and the UI designers. In 2004 they moved to Sonic Network Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer, where they developed music and audio software for cell phones and other consumer electronic devices as well as audio DSP plugins for professional audio production. In 2005 they joined Harman Specialty Group as a Principal Software Engineer. In 2012 they moved to SONiVOX as a Software Manager, managing a small software team and developing embedded and PC-based cross-platform music and audio software. In 2015 they joined inMusic Brands as a Senior Design Engineer, helping to fundamentally transform Alesis' professional electronic drum offerings and creating concepts, firmware and tools for Alesis Strike. In 2016 they moved to Fishman Transducers as a Software Manager.

John Teele attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
