Electrical Engineering Manager at Fishman Transducers

Stephen Bourque has over 30 years of experience in electrical engineering. Stephen began their career in 1988 with Scanning Devices, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer, designing microcontroller-based instruments and performing board layouts. In 1993, they moved to Aseco Corporation as a Senior Electrical Engineer, designing the control electronics for a state-of-the-art integrated circuit handler. From 1998 to 2002, Stephen worked at SierraCom as a Senior Electrical Engineer, designing and developing embedded firmware for microwave radios and IDUs. Stephen then moved to NxStage Medical as a Senior Electrical Engineer, maintaining and revising the main circuit board for the NxStage portable hemodialysis machine. In 2006, Stephen joined LoJack Corporation as a Senior Electrical Engineer/Firmware Engineering Manager, designing and developing firmware and circuits for LoJack stolen vehicle trackers. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at Gentex as a Principal Electrical Engineer, designing the hardware for a power-data rail on combat helmets. Stephen currently serves as an Electrical Engineering Manager at Fishman Transducers.

Stephen Bourque obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lowell in 1987. Stephen then continued their education at the same institution, completing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1989.
