Marc Held has a long and varied work experience. Marc began their career as a teacher for Newton Public Schools in 2006. In 2008, they became the Chief Technologist for Tippingpoint Labs. Marc then became the Co-founder and CTO of Zazu, Inc in 2009. In 2012, they were the Director of Mobile and Devices for BOXFISH and a Partner, Minister of Technology for Fluent Concepts. In 2013, they founded and became the CEO of Weft, which was acquired. Marc then became the Co-founder and CEO of ODYN in 2016, which was later acquired by Turvo in 2019. In 2021, they became the Co-founder and CEO of Fishtail.
Marc Held obtained a BS/MS in Computer Science from Northeastern University, although they did not complete the program. Marc also holds a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, which they obtained in 2010.
