Co-Founder & CIO, Head of Trade Finance at Fishtail

Min Tan has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry. From 1999 to 2004, they worked at Commonwealth Bank of Australia as an Associate Director in Corporate Finance, covering Financial Sponsors Coverage and Project Finance. From 2004 to 2006, they worked at HVB as an Associate Director in Corporate Finance, covering Financial Sponsors Coverage. From 2006 to 2008, they worked at Winnington Capital as a Director of Investments and Portfolio Management, focusing on Real Estate Private Equity. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at Asiya Investments as the Head of Direct Investments, focusing on Investment Management - Direct Investments / Growth Capital. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Atlantic, Gulf & Pacific Company (AG&P) as a Director on the Board of Directors. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at AIF Capital as the Head of Portfolio Management, focusing on Investment Management - Private Equity / Growth Capital. Finally, from 2018 to 2021, they worked at TransAsia Private Capital Limited as a Partner, focusing on Investment Management - Private Credit / Private Debt. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and CIO, Head of Trade Finance at Fishtail, a leading fintech organisation that combines data science with trade finance automation.

Min Tan began their educational career at Pembroke from 1991 to 1995. They then attended the University of New South Wales from 1996 to 1998, where they earned a degree in Commerce with a focus on Finance & Accounting.
