Perry Johnson

Perry Johnson has been involved in the data science field since 2015, when they began working as an Equity Options Trader. In 2018, they took on the role of Quantitative Analyst at Strix Leviathan, and also worked as an Independent Data Scientist & Engineer and Data Science Advisor for Don't Tell Comedy. In 2019, they became Lead Data Scientist at Farm Dog, which was later acquired by Deveron, TSX: FARM. Perry also worked as a Data Scientist for SharpestMinds, where they built a full-stack machine learning web-application that classifies electric scooters into nests. Most recently, in 2021, they became Co-Founder of Fishtail.

Perry Johnson has obtained a Master's degree in Data Science, Engineering, and Machine Learning from Northwestern University, a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Lake Forest College, and a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Deep Learning Specialization and Natural Language Processing Specialization from deeplearning.ai.
