Stig Leschly

Board Chair, Co-founder and Former CEO

Stig Leschly is the President and Founder of the Postsecondary Commission, which aims to secure federal recognition as an accreditor for innovative colleges focused on student outcomes. Previously, Stig founded and managed the Newark Charter School Fund, supporting school reform in Newark, NJ, in partnership with former Mayor Cory Booker. Stig also founded Exchange.com, an early competitor to eBay, which was later acquired by Amazon, where they served as Executive VP and shadow to Jeff Bezos. Stig has held various leadership roles in education-focused organizations, including CEO of Match Education and co-founder of Fishtank Learning and Duet, all dedicated to enhancing educational access and quality. Stig earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, where they also served as a lecturer.
