Daniel Cunningham

Daniel Cunningham is a Senior Design Engineer and R&D Engineer at Fiskars since May 2010, specializing in the development of technological platforms for new products across various categories. Previous experience includes serving as a Design Engineer focused on garden and crafting tools, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at MIT under Professor H. Harry Asada, where research concentrated on a traditional robot, the Winch-Bot. Additionally, Daniel was the Laboratory Teaching Assistant for an undergraduate robotics course at MIT, contributing to project development and lab activities. Earlier experience includes an internship at Barrett Technology, Inc. Daniel holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in 2009 and 2007, respectively.
