Chris Hand is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in powertrain systems, significantly contributing to electric and hybrid vehicle development. Currently serving as Associate VP of Powertrain at Fisker, Chris Hand has successfully delivered a powertrain system that achieved the highest range in its class. Previously, Chris Hand held key roles at Karma Automotive, including Director of Powertrain Systems & Software, overseeing the development of hybrid vehicle supervisory controls and ensuring compliance with CARB and EPA standards. Chris Hand's background also includes positions at Toyota Racing Development USA, Fisker Automotive, Honeywell, Tula Technology Inc., and Honda Performance Development, showcasing a solid foundation in both automotive racing and commercial vehicle applications. Chris Hand holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
