Fiskerstrand Verft AS, established in 1909, is a competitive and reliable ship yard located in Sula municipality, 22 km from Ålesund on the northwest coast of Norway.

This region of Norway prides itself on having one of the largest and most progressive maritime clusters in the world, where a considerable number of ship owners and companies specializing in ship design, shipbuilding and ship equipment are located. The region retains a unique well of maritime expertise, both in terms of skilled manpower and technology

The shipyard encompasses over 50.000m2, and features a 5.000m2 large machine park with production workshops and other buildings. Approximately 130 own employees. An additional 150 – 250 contract workers/subcontractors.

Current facilities and capacity:

250m quayside with cranes capacity of 60t, 20t, 20t and 2.5t.
Floating dock with lifting capacity of 12000t (LxWxD 165x27,4x7,5 m)
Construction berth: 110m x 23 m
Machinery and equipment both mobile and stationary on a large scale for large dimensions
Modern equipment for troubleshooting, adjustment and checking of machinery without disassembly
