John Pettus

John Pettus has held various positions in the military and private sectors since 2001. John started their career as a Research Associate at Fujifilm in 2001. In 2004, they interned at Crimson Investment and then became an Associate in 2006. From 2005 to 2008, they held various positions in the U.S. Army, including 1st Lieutenant in the 445th Civil Affairs Battalion, Civil Information Analyst Team Leader, and Rear Detachment Executive Officer in the 364th Civil Affairs Brigade. During this time, they also pursued an MBA from the Haas School of Business, graduating in 2009. In 2008, they became the Managing Partner of The BearFund, a private equity fundless sponsor. In 2013, they founded Fiskkit, a platform for in-line news commenting.

John Pettus received their MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2009. John earned their B.A. in Economics and East Asia Studies from Stanford University in 2000. John attended San Francisco University High School from 1992 to 1996.
