Brit W.

Brit W. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

From 2020 to the present, Brit has been working at FIT Technologies, starting as a Client Services Manager and progressing to the roles of Client Services Team Lead, Client Services Team Manager, and currently as a Client Services Sr. Team Lead. FIT Technologies is a provider of managed IT services, focused on increasing efficiency and productivity for businesses, nonprofits, and schools.

In 2020, Brit also served as a Board of Education Member for the Brecksville-Broadview Heights School District.

Since 2017, Brit has been an Ex-Officio Trustee for the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Schools Foundation, supporting the district's commitment to quality education through grants and scholarships.

From 2013 to 2020, Brit worked at the Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau. In the role of Sports Development Strategist and later as a Destination Sales Manager, Brit connected clients with local resources, secured events and meetings for the Greater Akron/Summit County region, and maintained relationships with industry partners.

In 2012, Brit served as a Project Manager for Gay Games 9 at the Federation of Gay Games, collaborating on website development, marketing, and volunteer engagement.

As a Gay Games Intern at the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission in 2012, Brit supported the initial planning and development of the 2014 Gay Games.

Brit's earlier work experience includes roles at Ohio University as an Academic Services Assistant for Athletics and as a Graduate Assistant from 2007 to 2010, where Brit helped student-athletes with academic support and liaised with academic units.

Brit W. holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Higher Education from Ohio University. They also have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Exercise Physiology from the same institution. In addition to their degrees, Brit W. has obtained a certification in ITIL Foundation Level from PeopleCert in August 2022.
