Rick Mason is a seasoned technical professional with over 25 years of experience in web technologies, currently serving as Technical Director: Digital at Relish Studios since July 2012. Mason has a strong background in both front-end and back-end web development and has contributed to the evolution of the company by integrating Quality Assurance, DevOps, and Accessibility best practices. In addition to the role at Relish, Mason has been involved with FITC since January 2002 as Technology Curator, where responsibilities include curating speakers and topics on creative technology. Previous experience includes roles as a Lead Developer for NOW Magazine, Lead Curator for North by Northeast Conferences, and Part-time Instructor at Centennial College. Mason holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Image Arts: New Media from Ryerson University.
