Benson Thomas

Benson Thomas has extensive experience in the finance and real estate sectors. Benson currently serves as the Head of Product Strategy - Structured Finance at Fitch Solutions, where they lead the delivery of ratings data and research products for the Structured Finance sector. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Fitch Ratings, including Senior Director, Director, and Associate Director, where they focused on CMBS and commercial real estate analysis, surveillance, and data management. Benson also has experience in portfolio risk management at the Low Income Investment Fund and debt originations at GE Capital and KeyBank Real Estate Capital. In the early stages of their career, they worked as a research assistant and analyst in the CMBS field at Standard & Poor's. Benson's expertise spans product strategy, analytics, risk management, and debt originations in the finance and real estate industries.

Benson Thomas holds a B.A. degree in Economics from New York University. Benson also obtained a certification in PMC Level I from Pragmatic Institute in 2024.
