Doreh Taghavi

Doreh Taghavi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2008, they started their career at Assistance Plus Home Health Care and Mental Health Services as a Behavioral Health Professional, where they worked until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Case Manager at Woodfords Family Services.

In 2016, Doreh had an internship at UNEP/CMS. Doreh then joined trivago in 2015, where they held several positions. Doreh started as a Project Coordinator in the Hotel Search department and later became a Business Analyst, focusing on analytics for text creation and SEO projects. Eventually, they became a Business Intelligence Analyst, managing KPIs, data analysis, and workflows through Hadoop infrastructure and leading a team of six talents. Doreh left trivago in 2019.

In 2019, Doreh joined Fitogram as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where they established the BI infrastructure and automated critical data delivery for business consumption. In 2020, they were promoted to Data & Analytics Team Lead, leading a team of two analysts and two data/machine learning engineers. Their responsibilities included aligning the data department with back/front end developers and identifying cost savings for teams by identifying data accumulation.

Doreh Taghavi has a diverse education history. Doreh obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maine from 2007 to 2010. Later, they pursued a Masters of Arts degree in Culture and Environment in Africa from the University of Cologne between 2015 and 2017. In 2010 and 2011, Doreh Taghavi attended the ShivaShakti Yoga School, completing a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training program focused on Vinyasa Flow.

In addition to their formal education, Doreh Taghavi has also acquired additional certifications. Doreh completed a course in Python for Data Science and AI from Coursera in August 2022.
