Michael Almeida

Michael Almeida has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Michael started their career as a Java Software Developer Intern at Meritus Systemy Informatyczne Sp. z o.o., where they gained experience in application development and researching solutions for implementing new functionality. Michael then pursued an internship at Samsung Electronics as a Software Engineer Intern, where they were responsible for creating plugins and maintaining tools used by the company.

After that, Michael worked as a Front-End Developer at Venturus, collaborating with international teams and developing modern applications. At iFood, they served as a Frontend Engineer, contributing to the development of large-scale web applications and working closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers. Currently, they hold the position of Frontend Engineer at Fitogram, where they work on a product used by thousands of customers and utilizes technologies such as React, Redux, and Typescript. Michael is also involved in monitoring production features using Hotjar and Google Analytics.

Michael Almeida completed a Full Stack Web Development Specialization as part of their graduate studies at PUC Minas from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, specializing in software development, web development, and mobile development, which they pursued from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, they hold certifications in React Testing with Jest and Enzyme from Udemy and completed a Java Tutorial course from SoloLearn.
