Douglas Rice

Douglas Rice is an experienced retail management professional with a robust background in overseeing operations, staffing, and training. Currently serving as District Manager for New Stores at Five Below since April 2013, Douglas is responsible for managing teams in new store openings and remodels. Previously, Douglas held multiple positions at Blockbuster, including Senior Buyer and Senior Manager of Domestic Franchise Operations, where responsibilities encompassed category management for 800 locations and supporting franchise initiatives. Earlier career roles included District Manager at Hollywood Video, General Manager at Palomar Lanes, and managerial positions at Domino's Pizza and Italia Pizzeria. Douglas is pursuing education at the University of Phoenix and has a prior degree from Santa Barbara City College.
