Gregg Smith

Gregg Smith, LPC/CFI, possesses extensive experience in asset protection and loss prevention within the retail sector, currently serving as Vice President of Asset Protection at Five Below since October 2014. Concurrently, Gregg has been part of the Asset Protection Advisory Council at the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and the Loss Prevention Leaders Council at the National Retail Federation since 2013. Previous roles include Sr. Director of Loss Prevention at The Children's Place, Sr. Director of Loss Prevention & Retail Operations at Donna Karan, Regional Director of Loss Prevention at Bloomingdale's, and a Sr. Regional Loss Prevention Manager at The Home Depot, where oversight included 82 stores generating over $4.6 billion in sales. Gregg began the career at JCPenney as a Sr. Loss Prevention Manager after earning a Bachelor's degree in Criminology with a minor in Pre-Law from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
