Aya Shvartz has held a variety of roles in the legal and financial sectors. In 2022, they began working as a Product Manager at Five Sigma. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Senior Legal Advocate at the Israel Capital Market Insurance & Savings Authority, where they coordinated and drafted financial legislation, led extensive supervision and enforcement procedures, provided legal counsel to a public committee, and managed and planned a variety of tenders for data systems, actuarial, and inspections services. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Lawyer at the Israel Ministry of Finance, where they managed and planned a variety of tenders, coordinated and drafted financial legislation, and cooperated with numerous government institutions and represented at the Knesset. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Legal Intern at the Israeli Ministry of Justice, where they handled and drafted legal papers for dozens of petitions against various government authorities, and was in charge of client relations and court administrations and schedules. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Scholarship Fund Manager at the Hebrew University Student Union, where they established an incubator for social entrepreneurs supported by the fund, managed a budget of over NIS 100,000, and mentored and promoted a variety of skills among social entrepreneurs. From 2010 to 2013, they were the Co-Founder and Manager of Ametz Saba, a nonprofit organization founded to alleviate loneliness among the elderly.
Aya Shvartz received their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2014, where they studied Law. Aya then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Finance and Financial Management Services from Tel Aviv University - Coller School of Management, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
