Michael Jones has worked in various roles within the tech industry since 2015. Michael began their career as an Intern (Part-Time) at NVIDIA in 2015. In 2017, they worked as a Part-Time Intern at Toshiba Research Europe Limited and a Intern at FiveAI, where they worked on various tasks involving computer vision using C++11, OpenCV, and GPU programming, as well as setting up and maintaining an Ubuntu package repository. Additionally, at Toshiba Research Europe Limited, they researched and developed a mobile parking application backend, providing users with real-time parking information, as part of the EU Horizon 2020 REPLICATE project, and evaluated machine learning techniques for detecting parking search behaviour using mobile phone sensors. In 2018, they returned to FiveAI as a Software Engineer.
Michael Jones graduated from the University of Bristol in 2018 with a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science and Electronics. Michael had previously attended the University of Bristol from 2014 to 2018.
