Philip Torr

Philip Torr is a Professor at the University of Oxford since October 2013, with extensive experience in academic and advisory roles across various companies. Currently, Philip serves as Chief Scientific Advisor at Eigent AI and FiveAI, as well as Chief Technologist, Director, and Co-Founder at Aistetic. In addition, Philip holds advisory positions at Everlyn, Visionary Machines, and OxSight, where Philip is also a Director and Co-Founder. Prior to these roles, Philip was an Advisor at Onfido and a Professor at Oxford Brookes University. Philip's earlier career includes a research scientist position at Microsoft from 1997 to 2004. Philip's educational background includes a DPhil in Computer Vision from the University of Oxford and a degree in Mathematics from the University of Southampton.
