Shane Pike has been working in the IT industry since 2012. Shane began their career as an IT Support Engineer at Sytner Group in 2012. In 2013, they moved to the British Consulate-General Shanghai as a System Administrator. In 2016, they joined Micro Focus as an Application Support Engineer. In 2018, they became a DevOps Engineer at CashFlows. Currently, Shane is an Infrastructure Engineer at Five AI, where they are responsible for building a highly scalable and resilient infrastructure to support the growth of autonomous vehicles. Shane works with a variety of tools, including Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Python, CI/CD Support, and Prometheus.
Shane Pike completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Leicester from 2008 to 2011. Shane also attended Leicester College but did not receive a degree. Shane has also obtained three certifications: Red Hat Certified System Administrator from Red Hat in July 2017, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) from Cisco in August 2015, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2021.
