Darshan Patel

Darshan Patel has over two decades of experience in infrastructure management and engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Cloud Infrastructure and Operations at Five9 since September 2020. In this role, Darshan oversees the global compute infrastructure, including Cisco UCS and VMware, while managing production operations teams. Prior to Five9, Darshan worked at eBay as a Converged Infrastructure Engineer and Sr. System Engineer, focusing on data center projects and virtualized environments. Earlier experience includes positions at PayPal as a Senior Unix/Linux Administrator and various roles at Sun Microsystems, where Darshan provided system administration support and consulting for clients. Darshan holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Northeastern Illinois University.
