Karl Tinawi

Karl Tinawi is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and development roles. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at Five9 since April 2021, Karl also holds the position of CEO at A Touch of Code Limited beginning July 2018. Previous positions include Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Cisco from October 2018 to April 2021, as well as CTO at Onkho from September 2017 to June 2018. Karl has also contributed as a Senior Software Engineer and Dev Lead at LCH from July 2013 to August 2017, and as a Software Developer at iDealing.com Ltd from April 2010 to July 2013. Early career experience includes a Graduate Software Developer role at Enigma Data Solutions Limited and an IT Services Trainer position at the University of Sussex. Karl holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Sussex and has furthered education at The University of British Columbia, focusing on Computer Science and North American History.
