Pavel Sharkin

Pavel Sharkin is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in frontend and web development. Currently serving as Development Manager and Software Developer Team Leader at Five9 since November 2012, Pavel specializes in frontend development, previously working as a Senior Software Engineer focused on web development using JavaScript, CSS, and REST. Prior experience includes a role as Team Lead at MERA, where Pavel oversaw feature design and development while leading a team of four engineers, as well as developing mobile applications for Blackberry, Android, and J2ME devices as a Software Developer. Earlier in career, Pavel contributed to the development of a port of Esmertec's Jbed Java Virtual Machine for Motorola Sprint mobile phones at Teleca. Pavel holds a Master of Fine Arts in Physics from the State University of Nizhni Novgorod named after N.I. Lobachevsky.
