Prakash Appani

Prakash Appani is an experienced technology leader with extensive expertise in software quality engineering and DevOps. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Five9 since July 2021, Prakash oversees the Platform Infrastructure team and is responsible for maintaining cloud infrastructure across production and non-production environments. Prior to Five9, Prakash held the role of Director of DevOps & Software Quality Engineering at GE Digital, managing applications on Predix and AWS platforms. Previous experiences include leadership positions at Pivotal Software, where Prakash managed software quality engineering for Pivotal HD, and Informatica, contributing to various testing strategies and team management. Prakash's educational background includes an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Kakatiya University.
