Simão R. holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto and a Master's degree in Information Security from DCC-FCUP. Simão began their career in cybersecurity at the Portuguese Ministry of Internal Affairs before working as a Security Analyst at Euronext and a Malware Analyst at S21sec. Currently, Simão serves as a Senior Incident Responder at Five9 and as a Certified Instructor at IEFP, teaching courses in Python, Network Fundamentals, and Computer Architecture. Their expertise includes malware analysis, incident response, and threat intelligence.
