Matthew Stuckey

Matthew Stuckey started their work experience as a Senior Designer at Happy House in 2001, where they transitioned to apparel and homewares design. In 2005, they became a Freelancer, developing a vector illustration style and custom typography skills, leading to the founding of Be Friendly in 2009. In 2016, they joined Makers Empire, eventually becoming the Director of User Experience. Their most recent role was as the UX Lead at Fivecast starting in 2022. Throughout their career, Matthew has focused on human-centered design principles, creative confidence, and problem-solving skills development.

Matthew Stuckey completed their Bachelor of Visual Communication with a focus on Illustration at the University of South Australia from 1997 to 1999. In 2017, they also obtained a certification in Insights for Innovation from IDEO U.
