Pedro Costa

Pedro Costa has worked in the IT industry since 2002. Pedro'sfirst job was as an IT Developer at PSPI, where they developed custom software for TV stations using VB6 and Matrox's graphic card API. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Freelancer, developing projects in various programming languages. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Software Developer at Super Vouchers, Lda, where they were responsible for custom software development, SQL Server 2008 database administration, software testing, and maintenance and administration of Web Server and edgeBox Server. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Financial SatNav as a Software Engineer, developing custom software in ASP.NET Framework 4.5. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Nmbrs BV, where they were part of the Financial and Integration Business Squad, responsible for code refactoring and multithreading solutions to increase system performance to generate on-the-fly financial reports, and the Infrastructure Squad, responsible for DAL refactoring, code refactoring to allow DI, and schedule/background tasks migration to Hangfire. Since 2018, they have been working as the Country Manager Portugal and Software Architect at five°degrees.

Pedro Costa obtained a Master's degree in Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and attended Escola Secundaria nº3.
