Gabriel Correa

Gabriel Correa has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Gabriel started their career at Votenza Systems in 2012 as a Database Programmer and Web Designer. Gabriel worked on updating web page designs using Microsoft Visual Studio and displaying data tables from a database. Gabriel also worked on stored procedures in SQL.

In 2012, Gabriel also worked at SLAIT Consulting as a Tech Support representative. Gabriel gathered customer information, evaluated and analyzed symptoms to determine issues, and provided service and support to end-users.

Gabriel then joined GIS in 2013 and held multiple roles during their time there. Initially, they worked as a Software Analyst, creating tools and automation in C# to address recurring issues and improve day-to-day operations. Gabriel also identified issues in both the database and code. Later, they worked as a Junior Software Developer, troubleshooting problems and supporting existing applications coded in C#, Visual Basic, and JavaScript. Gabriel also worked collaboratively to migrate software to new Windows Servers. In 2017, Gabriel transitioned to the role of a Software Engineer, where they analyzed feature requests, implemented and modified software features using Telerik, and utilized SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for client reports.

Most recently, Gabriel joined FivePoint Solutions in 2018. Gabriel started as a Senior Software Engineer, collaborating with project managers to determine timetables for feature requests. Gabriel also implemented and modified features in the software using Telerik. Currently, Gabriel serves as the Lead Software Developer, meeting with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical requirements. Gabriel works closely with Project Managers and Scrum Masters to break big projects into smaller tasks for agile development. Gabriel designs and builds applications using Vue JS, REST APIs, and C#.
