Donghui Zhang

Donghui Zhang is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in high-profile technology companies. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Fivetran since November 2021, Zhang previously held the role of Staff Software Engineer at Google, contributing to the development of Cloud Spanner. Prior experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Facebook on the Data Warehouse team and as an Architect at Paradigm4, Inc., where the focus was on advancing the SciDB computational database management system. Zhang's foundational roles also include Director of Software Development and Senior Software Engineer at Paradigm4, as well as Senior Research SDE at Microsoft Jim Gray Systems Lab. An academic background includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Northeastern University.
