Meel Velliste

Meel Velliste is currently the Chief Technology Officer and VP of Engineering at Fivetran. Prior to that, Meel held various research and teaching positions at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. Meel's work primarily focuses on developing algorithms for automated interpretation of microscope images, including image processing and machine learning techniques such as artificial neural networks. Meel holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Cybernetics and Computer Science from the University of Reading.
