Hubert So

Hubert So has a diverse work experience in finance, accounting, and cost control spanning over several companies. Hubert currently holds the position of Global Vice President of Finance at Fix Network World since September 2021. Prior to that, they served as Vice President Finance at the same company from October 2020 to September 2021. Before joining Fix Network World, Hubert worked as a Senior Financial Director at the company from July 2019 to October 2020 and as a Controller from June 2017 to July 2019.

Earlier in their career, Hubert worked at TCG International as a Controller from November 2005 to May 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Financial Planning and Cost Control Officer at the District of North Vancouver from November 2004 to November 2005. Before joining the District of North Vancouver, Hubert was employed at TCG International in various roles, including Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis from June 2002 to November 2004, Senior Business Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis from June 2001 to June 2002, Accounting Manager from May 1999 to June 2001, and Accountant from April 1998 to April 1999.

Hubert also has earlier accounting experience at Eagle Quest Golf Centers, where they worked as an Accountant from October 1997 to April 1998, and at Superstar Group Ltd., where they served as an Accountant from September 1995 to October 1997.

Hubert So started their education in 1993 at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Diploma of Technology in Financial Management. Hubert continued their education at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 1996 to 2000, earning a CPA, CGA degree in Accounting. Alongside their studies at CPA Canada, they obtained the CPA, CGA certification from CGA-Canada (Certified General Accountants Association of Canada) in May 2000. The culmination of their education was achieved at the University of Calgary, where they obtained a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree in Accounting from 1999 to 2002.
