Chris Pilling is a serial entrepreneur and investor who founded their first business in 1991 and is recognised as a pioneer in online B2B information, RegTech and online business communities. They are currently CEO of Matchdeck.com, which they co‑founded in December 2011 and expanded by acquiring aiHit Ltd and merging it with Matchdeck in August 2015. They were Founder and CEO of Datanet, which launched consumer sites including PlanetRugby.com and ran the online sports information networks for almost every major UK ISP and search engine including AOL, Yahoo and MSN before its sale in 1999. They were CEO of Complinet until its sale to Thomson Reuters in 2010 and then worked for Thomson Reuters as SVP of the Compliance and Regulatory Risk division until November 2011; they also serve in multiple current board and advisory roles, including Chairman of Elliptic, Xapien and FIXR and non‑executive or strategic advisor and investor roles at Harbr, CUBE Global, Access Intelligence Plc, Behavox and ComplyAdvantage.
