Ensuring residents’ clothing is correctly returned to them is extremely important to their comfort and dignity. Despite this, lost property is still one of the biggest causes for complaint in many care homes. 
Traditionally residents in care homes would have their clothes name labels put in by their families. However, the common methods of marker pen and iron on names wash off very quickly in a care home laundry and sew-on labels are very time consuming to attach.

The resident’s room number (or name) is clearly laser-etched onto the buttons labels, ensuring the marking withstands the chemicals and high temperatures encountered in a care home laundry system.
The buttons can be colour-coded to match different areas or floors of your care home and are securely attached to garments using the specially designed tools to ensure they do not come off in the wash.
