Alex Hanson

Alex Hanson is a UX & UI Designer at fjorge, and has been in the field of design since December 2021. Her previous company was Prime Digital Academy, where they served as a UX Student from December 2021 to April 2022. There, they worked on designing an interactive prototype for the employer-facing experience for Prentus’ hiring platform, as well as producing UX strategy assets for the company’s stakeholders, offering future-state concepts and recommendations.

From April 2022 to present, they have been with fjorge as a UX & UI Designer. In their role, they work on a variety of projects that require both their UX and UI skills. Alex has worked on projects for clients such as LiveMore Screen Less, Culture Booster, and Hope Community. For LiveMore Screen Less, they served as lead designer within their team of 3 in the creation of a digital resource library interactive prototype. For Culture Booster, they were the visual design lead and support researcher on a team of 5 who worked collaboratively to design an extension feature for their employee engagement software. And for Hope Community, they were the lead researcher and usability test moderator throughout a website audit for the community organization.

Alex Hanson has a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. They also have certification from Prime Digital Academy in User Experience Design and from IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals in Accessibility Fundamentals - Disabilities, Guidelines, and Laws. In addition, they have certification from IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals in Designing an Accessible User Experience.

They are on a team with Libby Tao - UX & UI Designer, Alak Phillips - UX & UI Designer. Alex Hanson reports to Allison Pauley, Director of UX & UI Design.
