Hi, I’m Neil Anderson, and my mission is to build your Cloud and Data Center career through easy to understand tutorials and mentoring.

I’ve been a professional instructor since 2007, where my main focus is delivery of technical training and development of course content for large enterprise and service provider customers such as NetApp, Cisco, Verizon and IBM. I train the engineers who design and implement the largest Cloud and Data Center deployments throughout Asia Pacific and the rest of the world.

I also provide consultancy support and mentoring for our services division systems engineers.

Prior to focusing on training I worked in the field for over 10 years in a variety of systems and network engineering roles.

I’ve always embraced change and I’ve worked in contract roles for dozens of companies, big and small, and enjoyed soaking up knowledge across all areas of information technology. I’m lucky this has given me a broad perspective across server, network and storage technologies.

As well as explaining the hands-on details of each technology I teach, a key part of my role is explaining the big picture of how all the technologies fit together in real world deployments, and the best practice way to implement them.

My mission is building engineers, my passion is helping you succeed. I love to hear back from students who I’ve helped move on to the next level in their career. It gives me huge satisfaction to know I’ve played a part in you achieving your goals.
