Stephen Melley

Stephen Melley has over 28 years of experience in finance, accounting, and treasury. In 1992, they began their career as a Senior Business Analyst at sanofi-aventis pharmaceuticals. Stephen then moved to Pernod Ricard - Austin, Nichols & Co., Inc. in 1995 as a Budget Manager, leading a team of three. In 1996, they joined American Express as a VP of Finance, responsible for providing financial planning and business analysis to US and International Card Servicing group. In 2006, they became a Director of Finance at UBS Financial Services Inc. and in 2009 they were appointed VP of Financial Planning and Analysis at 1800flowers.com. In 2015, they worked as a Financial Consultant for Outdoor Voices, a recently Series A funded athletic apparel startup, and as a Managing Director of Finance at CBRE. From 2016 to 2020, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Solid & Striped before becoming Global Head of Finance at AccountAbility, where they were responsible for all Finance, Accounting, Treasury and Risk Management functions of the organization. Currently, Stephen Melley is the Head of Finance at Flag & Anthem.

Stephen Melley obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. John's University between 1983 and 1987. Stephen then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration in International Finance from the same university between 1990 and 1992.
