Isabel Sum

Isabel Sum has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Isabel is currently a Co-Founder of a stealth mode startup called Flagship Founders, where they are involved in the strategic planning and development of the company. Prior to this, they worked at StackFuel as a Lead Strategic New Business, Senior Enterprise Account Executive, and Account Executive, gaining valuable experience in sales and account management. Isabel also contributed as the Strategic Partnerships & Community Lead at Inclusive Tech, a research and consulting organization focused on creating a more inclusive future in the tech industry. Isabel has also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at ShakeNight, where they played a crucial role in sales, marketing, and revenue generation. Among their accomplishments, Isabel founded and hosted the Charming China Podcast, an inspirational business podcast with a focus on China. Additionally, they co-founded and held leadership positions at MetalicCards, Hannoversche Kaffeemanufaktur China, and MyBröetchen - individuelle Bio-Backmischungen, demonstrating their entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to building successful ventures. Isabel's work experience also includes a brief sales role at IBM.

Isabel pursued a Master's degree in Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, and Technology (SET) from Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences from 2021 to 2023. Isabel also completed a Master's degree in Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, and Technology (SET) from WU Executive Academy during the same period.

Prior to their Master's studies, Isabel earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in International Management for Business and Information Technology from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained another Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in International Management for Business and Information Technology from National University.

Isabel has also acquired several certifications. In February 2021, they completed the "Data Analyst with Python" certification from StackFuel. In November 2020, they obtained the "Data Awareness" certification from StackFuel GmbH. In June 2020, they completed the "Using Databases with Python" certification from Coursera. Moreover, they earned the following certifications in 2020: "Using Python to Access Web Data" in May, "Programming for Everybody (Getting started with Python)" in April, "Python Data Structures" in April. Isabel also earned the "Machine Learning" certification from Coursera in January 2019.

Outside of their academic achievements, Isabel holds certifications in scuba diving. Isabel obtained the "PADI Advanced Open Water Diver" certification from PADI in August 2009 and the "PADI Open Water Diver" certification in October 2007.

Isabel also holds the "EFSET 67 Advanced (CEFR C1)" certification from EF Education First, and they have an "ITIL Foundation Zertifikate," but the institution and the year of obtaining are not specified.
