Johnny Chan

Johnny Chan is a seasoned senior backend developer with extensive experience in migrating systems to event-driven microservices and enhancing digital payment solutions. Currently at Flagstone since April 2023, Johnny focuses on migrating customers from legacy systems. Previous roles include positions at NewDay, where key contributions were made to the Strong Customer Authentication Team, and ClearBank®, where product maintenance of the CHAPS payment scheme was a primary responsibility. Johnny has a solid foundation in building insurance platforms and credit card processing systems, utilizing modern technologies such as Azure, Terraform, and various architectural principles, including microservices and serverless design. Educational background includes a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Leicester.
