Paul Maddock

Paul Maddock has extensive work experience in the GIS (Geographic Information System) field. Paul currently works at Flairsoft as a GIS Developer/Tech Lead, starting in 2019. Prior to this, they worked at PRIME AE Group, Inc. as a Senior GIS Application Developer for two months in 2019. From 2018 to 2019, they served as a Senior GIS Application Developer at 3SG Plus. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a GIS Developer at Flairsoft.

Before joining Flairsoft, Paul worked at Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation as a GIS Analyst from 2014 to 2017. In this role, they were responsible for mapping and analyzing geographic data related to natural gas production. Paul also co-administrated ArcGIS for Server and Portal and published web mapping and feature services.

From 2012 to 2014, Paul worked at IJUS as a GIS Developer. Here, they created a web application job queuing implementation using various frameworks and supported applets using the ArcPad development suite.

Prior to their GIS roles, Paul worked as a Geographer/Cartographer at The Ohio State University from 2009 to 2011, where they created map graphics for academic articles. Paul also worked as a Computer Technician at the US Army Corps of Engineers for three months in 2009 and as a Claims Management Specialist at FirstGroup America for two months in 2007.

Paul Maddock attended The Ohio State University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Geography. In 2012, they briefly enrolled at Columbus State Community College to study Computer Science. Additionally, in August 2016, Paul obtained a certification in Duolingo German Fluency at an intermediate level from Duolingo.
