Claude Aboujaoude

Claude Aboujaoude is an accomplished professional in the field of autonomous solutions and engineering management, currently serving as the VP of Autonomous Solutions at FLANDERS since April 2023. Prior experience includes engineering management and new product introduction roles at Caterpillar Inc. from January 2016 to March 2023, focusing on the MineStar Command for Drilling product suite, which enhances automation in rotary blasthole drilling. Aboujaoude also held a technical management position at Caterpillar of Canada Corporation from August 2002 to December 2015, where responsibilities included managing the integration and growth of GPS-based guidance solutions post-acquisition of Aquila Mining Systems. Earlier career experiences include engineering management at Aquila Mining Systems, where Aboujaoude led the development of a pioneering asset monitoring technology. Academic qualifications consist of a Ph.D. in Mining Technology and Automation and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from McGill University, along with an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
