Bryce Jones

CEO and Founder at Flash Forest

Bryce Jones has been in the workforce since 2009. Bryce co-founded Crystal Clear Chip Repair in 2009 and then went on to become a Forester at Apex Reforestation in 2013. In 2016, they conducted lab research and analysis as part of a directed studies program at the University of Victoria. In 2017, they became the Business Owner of Jones Solar Consulting. In 2019, they assumed the role of CEO and Founder of Flash Forest and also became an Electromechanical Engineering student and Team Leader - Mars Rover Competition at George Brown College. In the latter role, they were the project leader in the development, programming and operation of a rover designed to simulate remotely-controlled rovers operating on Mars.

Bryce Jones obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS from the University of Victoria in 2016, majoring in Biology. Bryce then obtained a TESOL English Teaching Certificate from Global Village Victoria in 2016. In 2021, they obtained an Advanced Diploma from George Brown College in Electromechanical Engineering Technology. Additionally, they obtained a Small Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS), Visual Line of Sight (VSOL) - Advanced Operations certification from Transport Canada - Transports Canada in April 2021, an Open Water Diver certification from PADI in March 2014, and an Emergency First Aid - CPR A - AED certification from St. John Ambulance Canada | Ambulance Saint-Jean in January 2021.
