David Frymyer

David Frymyer has over 25 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity and compliance. David is currently serving as the Director of Cybersecurity and Compliance at Flash since June 2023. Prior to this, David held the position of Head of Cybersecurity & Compliance at Deep Labs from June 2019 to June 2023, where they managed a team of 4 resources and designed and implemented cybersecurity and compliance programs. David also achieved SOC 2 and PCI DSS compliance and successfully coordinated unqualified audits for both programs. From April 2013 to December 2018, David served as the VP Risk & Compliance and CISO at InAuth, Inc. (acquired by American Express). In this role, they were responsible for managing information cybersecurity and compliance programs, as well as overseeing IT integration efforts after the company's acquisition. Prior to this, David worked at The Huntington Bank from August 2010 to March 2013 as an Information Security Architect, Staff Officer, where they provided architecture support and engineering for complex business initiatives. David began their career at Nationwide as an Information Security Consultant from June 2001 to August 2010. David started their professional journey as an IT Auditor at the Auditor of State - Ohio from November 1995 to June 2001.

David Frymyer has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Management Information Systems from Ohio University. In September 2002, they obtained the CISSP certification from ISC2.org.
