Austin Warnick

Austin Warnick, CISSP, has a diverse work experience in the cybersecurity field. Austin is currently working as the Director of National Security Intelligence at Flashpoint, where they lead a team and focuses on intelligence-related activities. Before this role, they were the Team Lead and Lead Analyst at Flashpoint, where they demonstrated their expertise in analyzing and responding to emerging threats. Prior to joining Flashpoint, Austin worked as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, gaining valuable experience in the industry. Austin started their career in the US Navy, serving in various roles at the Cyber National Mission Force and the National Security Agency, specializing in target digital network and language analysis. In these positions, they developed advanced analytical skills and conducted research to identify, collect, analyze, process, and disseminate information on potential threats. Austin Warnick, CISSP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber Security from American Military University, which they obtained between 2019 and 2023. Austin also has an Associate of Arts degree in Persian-Farsi from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, earned in 2012 and 2013. In addition to their degrees, they are certified as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) by EC-Council and as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) by (ISC)², with the CISSP certification obtained in July 2018.
