John Scanio

John Scanio has extensive work experience in investment advisory and financial consulting roles. John is currently serving as the Managing Director - Investments at Flat World Partners, where they focus on impact investments. Prior to this, they founded and managed Trekker Capital as the Founder & Portfolio Manager. John also worked at Swank Capital LLC as a Co-Portfolio Manager, specializing in global clean equities. Additionally, they operated their own strategic financial advisory practice and held leadership positions at SalesVu, Focus Strategies Merchant Banking, and International Paper.

John Scanio completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and Spanish from the Texas McCombs School of Business from 1998 to 2002. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance/Investments at Southern Methodist University from 2005 to 2007.
