Karim Marwan

Karim Marwan is the Marketing and Outreach Manager for the StartEgypt program He handles StartEgypt events, online presence, and public relations activities. Karim and his team are leading the vision of StartEgypt (Inspire, Build, Accelerate) to inspire and support millions of Egyptian entrepreneurs to create a social impact all over Egypt. Karim started off in ITWORX as an IT Administrative Assistant, and he quickly got promoted to become a Senior Support Engineer. In a pivotal leap of faith, he changed his career direction to Marketing and Events Planning, despite being in a middle management level as an IT expert. Karim pursued his passion for marketing and decided to join the marketing department as an Innovation Officer for two years. After a number of successful events and initiatives, he embarked on his journey in ITWORX Education where he managed and delivered several projects in diverse locations around the world including Latin America, Europe, the United States, the Gulf, and the Middle East, and Africa. During his talks, Karim inspires the younger generations to unleash their passions and to go against all odds, believe in their abilities, and work hard till they reach their goals and true purpose.
