Josh Marks

Josh Marks is an experienced hiring leader currently overseeing all aspects of recruitment at Flatfile since February 2022, focusing on various roles across engineering, marketing, and sales. Prior to Flatfile, Josh served as Manager of Candidate Experience & Recruiting at Root Inc., where responsibilities included managing a team and enhancing employer branding. Previous roles also include Senior Recruiter and Recruiter at Root Inc. and Perio, Inc., respectively. As a co-founder of Grizzly Springs LLC, Josh contributed significantly to procurement, partnerships, and website management. Josh’s entrepreneurial background began with the founding of Updog Clothing, a socially conscious clothing brand. Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies and Sports Management from Wittenberg University.
