François Chu

François Chu is the Co-Founder & CTO at flavrs. François was previously a Product Manager at Plaid from September 2018 to July 2019 and at Google from November 2009 to May 2017. At Google, they led cross-functional teams in the Android System UI group for projects spanning Lollipop (5.0) to Oreo (8.0), including notifications, settings, quick settings, and volume controls. Prior to Google, Chu was a Project Manager at Nokia from May 2009 to August 2009, leading a team of six students in designing and developing a geo-fenced group messaging application concept. François has also worked as a Researcher at Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile from April 2008 to August 2008 and as an Examiner in Mathematics at Lycée Sainte-Geneviève from September 2006 to April 2008. Chu began their career as a Police Officer at Gendarmerie Nationale from September 2005 to April 2006.

François Chu studied human-computer interaction at Carnegie Mellon University and computer science at École Polytechnique. François also studied mathematics and physics at Lycée Sainte-Geneviève.
