Erik Ehrner has been working in the outdoor industry since 2000. From 2000-2014, they worked as a Lavininstruktör (SVELAV) and Canadian Ski Guide (CSGA) for Naturvårdsverket. In 2014, they began working as a Ski Guide for Active Ski Travel, where they were responsible for travel production, client handling, route planning, and safety on the mountain. In 2016, they started working as a Product Manager - Evoko & Smart Media Solutions (SMS) for EET Europarts AB, where they worked to ensure resellers understood why they should sell the unique products from Evoko and SMS. In 2017, they began working as an Event Manager and Brand Ambassador and Ski Guide for Mammut Sports Group AG and DPS Skis, respectively. That same year, they also began working as a CTO och affärsutvecklare and MTB-ledare for Friluftsfrämjandet (Swedish Outdoor Association). In 2021, they began working as a Krönikör for Åka Skidor Magazine and in 2022, they began working as a Brand Ambassador for blackcrows and Flaxta.
Erik Ehrner obtained their Heliski-guide certification from CSGA in December 2008. From 2008 to 2009, they attended CSGA for Mechanized Ski Guiding. From 2013 to 2015, they attended Örebro University for Dryckeskunskap I & II - Campus Grythyttan. From 1996 to 1998, they attended Södertörn University for Business Administration, Organization and Politics. Finally, from 1998 to 1999, they attended Stockholm Business School, Stockholm University for Business Administration and IT.
