Byron Lee

Byron Lee serves as a Civics Literacy Coach at The Florida Department of Education, specializing in the design and implementation of K-12 Civics and Government Standards and Benchmark Curriculum Instructional Guides. Experience includes roles as a Middle School Teacher with the School District of Palm Beach County, where Byron developed data-driven lesson plans, and as a Project Coordinator with Millennial Week, focusing on client management and business development. Previous positions also include Human Resources Coordinator at Kforce Inc., Training and Development Intern at Starboard Cruise Services, Editor/Writer for Barry Buccaneer Newspaper, Graduate Research Assistant at Barry University, and Literacy AmeriCorps member with the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County. Byron holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Florida Atlantic University and another Master’s degree in Organizational Learning and Leadership from Barry University, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Tampa.
